About Us – Supreme Carriages

Paul and Elaine set up Supreme Carriages over 40 years ago, starting their business in Essex from one carriage and a pair of horses then moving to Norfolk to expand with over 20 horses and 50 carriages.

Paul started filming with horses at the age of 7 – starring in Black Beauty, along side his father Brian Bowes who was a well known stuntman. Since then Paul has continued to work on film sets and starting up the funeral and wedding business with Elaine

Elaine’s (the BOSS) love of horses started at the age of 8, and has never gone away! From running the business to making sure the horses are in tiptop condition and also doubling actress’s in films as a stunt double.

Paul and Elaine’s children Chris and Sophie and their partners are heavily envolved with the running of the day to day business – spanning 3 generations of horse drawn occasions!
